Anna Rawlinson Success Story
Anna Rawlinson, AIPT Graduate
"Be a sponge and learn as much as you can. Take as many courses and absorb all the information".
Tell us a bit about yourself.
My name is Anna, and I’m 21 years old. I decided I wanted to be a personal trainer at the age of 14. I’m extremely fascinated with the sport of boxing and Martial arts and endeavour to pursue a career in teaching boxing. I competed in a bodybuilding competition at age 17, and I love running.
What made you decide to pursue a career in fitness?
I’d grown up running, and from there, I became interested in boxing and resistance training. Initially, I decided to take the course to see how far I could take my own training, but as I became more immersed in the study and practice I realised how rewarding it would be to teach this lifestyle to others.
Why did you choose to study with AIPT?
AIPT was recommended by a coach that I knew.
What are your plans for the future?
To continue building my career as a Personal Trainer, taking short courses and continuing to expand my knowledge. Learning from others and to become a boxing trainer.
What would you say to people who are considering taking the leap into a career in fitness?
To be a sponge and learn as much as you can. Take as many courses and absorb all the information. You can’t fake what you know about the human body and health. It is a content-heavy topic/ course, but it is rewarding learning in such depth.
