Meet your Bendigo educator
Sophie Hawken was named the 2013 Personal Trainer of the Year by Physical Activity Australia.
Sophie started her fitness career when she joined the Army in 2000. She was quickly identified as a leader and put through a physical training instructor course. Sophie completed four years in the military training squads, where she’d have up to 80 clients per session. During this time she continued to pursue her passion for triathlons and decided in 2004 to become a professional athlete – going on to win four silver medals at Age Group World Triathlon Championships in various locations around the world.
Sophie still trains daily and always keeps track of each and every client’s goals and achievements.
