Read AIPT Graduate Sienna Galante’s Success Story

Student Success Story

Sienna Galante started her personal training studies whilst finishing high school.

This course kick-started her career, which meant she could work as a Personal Trainer when she graduated year 12!

What did you do your first year out of High School?

Sienna Galante completed her Certificate III and Certificate IV in Fitness with the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers alongside her year 12 WACE subjects in 2012.

She studied at the Albany Campus in the FAST TRACK June intake of that same year. Not only did she walk away with a High School Certificate and a Personal Training qualification but this opportunity also created an environment to develop time management skills and a place to nurture and cultivate inner confidence which enabled her to develop into the best Personal Trainer she can be, not just for herself but more importantly for her clients!

Sienna knew she would be moving to Perth after completing High School and she didn’t want to get a job in retail or bars. Becoming a Personal Training was the perfect first job which also gave her a chance to make a difference in people’s lives. Sienna is now undertaking further tertiary studies and is working as a personal trainer part-time.

Sienna says ‘Personal Training is a great job to have on the side and has saved me from working in pubs and clubs to get by’.

She finished her Personal Training course in 6 months and found that by being a Personal Trainer people are grateful for your support and encouragement to be able to help them with their long-term health and wellness. She is now employed at a National Gym training clients around her university schedule.

Sienna says ‘Whilst I enrolled with the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers to learn how to personal train, I learnt so much more, including the tools to lead a healthy lifestyle and that’s now what I preach to my clients.’

‘The learning environment that Brett created was fun, hands-on and a nice break from normal study! The light-hearted atmosphere made the whole learning experience that much better, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again.’
