About Carmelita.

Hi, I’m Carmelita Varelas, an AIPT Mentor based at Premium PT, Adelaide.

I have ten years of industry experience, four of which have allowed me to Mentor through AIPT. I grew up in Berri, Riverland, South Australia with a love for sports and music.

What inspired you to get into the Fitness Industry?

An interest in sports is always a good precursor for enjoying fitness. Once I completed my Certificates III and IV, I turned that enjoyment into a passion, and my interest became my profession.

What do you love about your job?

My favourite part of my work is now coaching and teaching other trainers. I love guiding them on their journeys to allow them to train and coach their own clients effectively.

Why did you partner with AIPT?

I partnered with AIPT to connect to the industry. It allowed me to expand my coaching.
